Encore 880 millions de $ du Pentagone affectés à la construction du mur anti-migrants

Un peu de suivi des dossiers ne fait pas de mal.

Depuis le 20 novembre, trois avis d’attribution de marchés (d’une valeur de 880 millions de $) ont été diffusés par le Pentagone, portant sur des travaux de génie civil à la frontière entre le Mexique et les USA.

En voici les textes (à noter que le premier, pour 31 miles de barrière, a été attribué à Fisher Sand and Gravel, une société notoirement proche de Donald Trump et à qui Fox News a déroulé le tapis pour vanter son savoir-faire):

Fisher Sand and Gravel Co., Dickinson, North Dakota, was awarded a $399,962,000 firm-fixed-price contract to design-build border infrastructure along the southern perimeter of the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge in Yuma County, Arizona. Five bids were solicited with three bids received. Work will be performed in Yuma, Arizona, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 30, 2020. Fiscal 2018 military construction, defense-wide funds in the amount of $268,072,900 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, Portland, Oregon, is the contracting activity (W912PL-20-C-0004).

Seaside Engineering & Surveying LLC,* Baker, Florida (W9126G-20-D-6003); and Lowe Engineers LLC,* Robert, Louisiana (W9126G-20-D-6004) will compete for each order of the $240,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for professional land survey architect-engineer in support of the Southwestern Division Department of Homeland Security Border Infrastructure Program. Bids were solicited via the internet with 12 received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Nov. 26, 2024. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock, Arkansas, is the contracting activity.

VGW Geospatial JV,* O’Fallon, Illinois, was awarded a $240,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for professional land survey architect-engineer in support of the Southwestern Division Department of Homeland Security Border Infrastructure Program.
